For those fascinated by history and culture, Sri Lanka's ancient cities are a treasure waiting to be explored. Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa, Kandy and Galle are steeped in history, offering a glimpse into Sri Lanka's rich cultural heritage. In Sri Lanka people of different religions live together. Buddhist, Hindus and Muslims. Not many first-time visitors realise that the international airport is situated in Negombo, which is 25km away from the capital city of Colombo. We recommend you to skip the hustle bustle of Colombo and start your trip in the lap of nature in a beautiful and peaceful village called Kappalady!
