Week #2: living like a local
Not much sailing for our second week on Wallis. We decided to drop our anchor in the south of Huahine island, one of the most beautiful bays of the whole of French Polynesia . We spent time meeting old and new friends, enjoying the best of the Polynesian lifestyle...

Week #3: sailing is on
After a great week with our friends on Huahine, we are sailing back to Tahaa and prepare for more sailing as the wind picks up. We need to make sure Wallis (and its crew) are ready for a few weeks sailing to Bora Bora and Maupiti.

Week #4: from sea to shore
After 3 weeks on the boat, we enjoyed spending a few days on land. We did 2 beautiful hikes on Tahaa and Raiatea which also gave us the opportunity to hitchhike around these islands and meet locals folks. Always a great experience! By the end of the week, it was time to move again... on our way to Bora Bora.

Week #5: Bora to Maupiti
This week, we boldly go where (kinda) no one has gone before... For the first time, we take Wallis to an island it has never been before. Maupiti, here we come !

Week #6: Good times in Maupiti
We enjoyed spending a full week in Maupiti, the island is so beautiful and peaceful. It was most welcome after the crazyness of the Bora Bora lagoon. We are now waiting for the right weather window to continue on to our next island...

Week #7: Maupiti to Maupihaa
After two weeks in Maupiti, it was time to move on to the next... and last island. Last island because Maupihaa is the most western island of French Polynesia before crossing to the Cook Islands... It seems like we sailed to the end of the world and discovered paradise !

Maupihaa has a lot to offer... but no Internet! Our week in Maupihaa was a return to nature and simple human interactions. A blessing !

Week #9: back to "civilization"
After a week in Bora Bora, 10 days in Maupiti and 2 weeks in Maupihaa, we sailed back in Raiatea where we could refill and restock. The first priority was to find a supermarket and a boulangerie!

It is incredible how quickly time passes, we have already been in Huahine for 10 days this second time around. Even though Huahine is a small island, there is always something going on.

We made it to the Tuamotus! A whole new archipelago for us to discover... We had an amazing crossing between Huahine and Tikehau, probably our best ever with Wallis. And now get to enjoy the Tuamotu lifestyle...
