A calm, serene and authentic eco resort nestled in the un-touched village of Kappalady. A haven for kitesurfers, yoga enthusiasts, families and digital nomads. We offer high speed wi-fi connectivity, a beautiful yoga shala and easy access to one of the best kiteboarding lagoons in Sri Lanka. Our coconut grove has a lush green open space for children to play and kite gear to dry. You can also just chill and enjoy amazing sunsets!
Our rooms
4 individual villas with private terrace & bathroom, perfect for single or double occupancy.
2 lagoon beach cabanas, large enough to accommodate a family, but with no wifi signal.
1 family cabana with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a mezzanine (with additional beds for children), ideal for a family or a group of friends.
Our restaurant, overlooking our coconut grove, is open for breakfast, lunch and diner offering tasty & healthy meals prepared with local spices and fresh produce from our organic garden.
Our facilities & Activities
There is never a dull moment at Wind Blend! Our facilities include Children's playground, Bicycle rental, Badminton, Fish spa, Yoga (on request). Some of the activities are more seasonal like Kiteboarding (best from June to September but December to February also works) and Dolphin watching (best from June to September). We can also organise for you Kappalady Village tour, Wilpattu National Park Safari tour & Anuradhapura city world heritage visit.

A 5 year story of dreams, hardwork & partnership amongst four people connected by their passions...
"My name is Sudath, passionate cricketer and the proud owner of Wind Blend Kites Resort. Having worked in several resorts around the world and in Sri Lanka, my dream was to open my own resort in my home country that I could leave behind for my daughters. The resort I envisioned was one that combines the traditional Sri Lankan architecture and experience with modern landscaping and amenities. Natural and simple but with an eye to aesthetics is my style. My dream came true 5 years back after I met Sebastien, Yamini and Fabian. Together we built something authentic and true to our core values. I look forward to welcoming you with my team at Wind Blend Kite Resort."
